Maintenance

So the holiday came and went and there were good and bad things that happened but mostly good. Holidays can be incredible but stressful for the parents. For the past 6 weeks I have been bulking or just trying to get stronger. I realized that I have been “cutting” or kept my calories incredibly low for a very long time. Which was affecting my overall strength. Honestly since the pandemic started I have been cutting my calories. So I realized I need to reset everything and build my metabolism up again. Which would hopefully build my strength. I decided for those 6 weeks I would raise my caloric intake 300 calories above maintenance.

Anyway the time has come for me to start cutting my calories. But what I do is go back to maintenance then slowing start to lower down afterwards. Really happy with my “bulk.” I got to 218 lbs., which is incredibly. Now the goal is to get down to 170. I feel like I can get this done in 3-4 months. No cheat days to slow me down. This is going to be interesting.

Now taking on the role of nutrition coaching to few people already. This transformation will hopefully be inspiring to a lot of clients. Remember 70 of losing weight or gaining muscle mass is food and sleep. I am truly very blessed. Stay strong everyone, consistency is key for your success.
